Jamie Hogan
MA, LPC, NCC, Somatic EMDR Practitioner RYT-200
I began my journey in the counseling field in 2006. Early in my work, I recognized that healing doesn’t happen through insight alone—it also requires attention to the body, the nervous system, and the deeper parts of ourselves that often go unspoken. My approach is integrative, supporting each person in discovering their own path to healing, because no two journeys are ever the same.
I have a strong foundation in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering practical skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, and navigating difficult experiences. This provides a steady base for building awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.
My work also incorporates somatic psychology, bringing attention to how experiences are held in the body. This may include body awareness, breathwork, or gentle movement such as yoga to support release and integration.
For clients who feel drawn to it, I also integrate spiritual exploration into the work. This may include connecting with intuition, deepening self-understanding, or exploring experiences that don’t always fit within traditional frameworks. I have been a practicing energy healer for over 10 years and a Reiki Master/Teacher for more than 5 years. At times, I may incorporate tarot or oracle cards as reflective tools—not for prediction, but to support insight and perspective.
I tend to work in a way that is both grounded and intuitive—integrating practical tools with deeper exploration, depending on what you need. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels aligned with you.
